Kelsee Sweigard is a New York City-based actor, singer, dancer, and musician. Originally from Harrisburg, PA, her childhood was busy with lots of dance training, piano and voice lessons, pitching on her school's softball team, and as a champion competitive swimmer. In high school, Kelsee discovered her true love for musical theatre. She continued dancing, sang in PMEA District, Regional, and All-State Choirs, and performed regularly throughout the mid-state area.
As a student in Shenandoah Conservatory's BFA Musical Theatre program, Kelsee performed frequently in the school's mainstage and studio theatre productions, as well as with multiple student-run projects. She learned to play guitar, and nurtured her love for singing pop/rock music styles. She spent two seasons with the on-campus professional summerstock, Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre, favorite credits including Man of La Mancha, Shrek, Les Misérables, and Mary Poppins.
Her regional credits include Flat Rock Playhouse's How to Succeed...(dir./choreo. Richard J. Hinds) and Gypsy (dir./choreo. Amy Jones), and Rhetta Cupp in Great Plains Theatre's Pump Boys and Dinettes. Kelsee has performed worldwide as a singer onboard Holland America Line. She made her US National Tour debut as Pat in the final company of Kinky Boots (dir./choreo. Jerry Mitchell, set by D.B. Bonds and Rusty Mowery).
